Left this place with my car worse off than when I took it in. Went in for an AC diagnostic. My carβs AC was clicking on but the air wasnβt that cold (but also not warm). I dropped it off at 8am and was told Iβd get a call in 1-2 hours. At 12:30pm, I hadnβt received a call so I called and was told that it was still being inspected. When I finally got a call around 1:30, the manager told me I had a leak, but couldnβt find it, so he couldnβt fix it, but he could recharge the system with coolant for $370. Since I have a leak, that could last a couple weeks or a couple of months. Not only was this price outrageous, it seemed pointless if I would have to just address the problem again that soon. I told him Iβd just pay for the diagnostic and he questioned me, βwhy the hesitation to get the recharge?β After I had to explain myself to get off the phone, I went to get my car and instantly noticed that my AC was no longer clicking on. What was once only a mild coolness to the air was not pure hot air. I went back in and asked for the manager and asked why my AC was no longer turning on. He said βonce you refuse to do the service with us, we vacuum out all the coolant since we add some to tes

When you drop off your vehicle the night before, you should get a call the next day. It never happened. Oil was changed but tires not rotated per request. Paid over $100 for diagnostic of fuel gauge & told they needed 6 more hours to find the issue?

After installing a new steering box, pitman arm, idler arm, power steering pump, and hoses on my 2005 Tahoe Z71 (300,000+ miles), I scheduled a wheel alignment with Tires Plus in Waukesha, WI. Will, the service writer, was excellentβprofessional and easy to work with. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. The technician incorrectly diagnosed a power steering leak from the steering gear, specifically from the steering shaft seal of the newly replaced unit. Based on that diagnosis, I was advised not to proceed with the alignment. I agreed and was charged $25 for their time, which initially seemed fair. However, after inspecting the vehicle myself, there was no active leakβfluid level remained stable, and I verified this over 100+ miles and during idle testing. The diagnosis was simply incorrect. In reality the area still had residual fluid from the front end components I replaced, and from purging the system. Non of which were on the steering gear itself, or the area that the technician claimed it was leaking from. This resulted in a three-hour round trip and a charge based on an incorrect diagnosis, without any alignment service being performed. While the recomm

Waukesha location. I am a middle aged woman and this was the first time I went to a Tires Plus garage and will never return. I made an appointment online in a chat with customer service a week in advance so they had plenty if time to acquire the parts needed. After the inspection, on the estimate sheet, the parts for Brake pads/Rotors totaled $816.00 with an additional $464.00 for Labor. Outrageous prices so needless to say I started asking questions as the estimate was significantly higher than I had received from 2 other garages (phone estimates). I started asking for specific information about the parts and I was told the parts were "Platinum parts, top of the line". The problem with that is I never requested top of the line parts. They took it upon themselves to source the highest priced parts they could find. Why would corporate have that as a policy? Is it part of their Business Model to increase profits? When I made the appointment, my assumption was that they would order the best value parts that are cost effective but still have high quality. To me that would be the "Best Practice". I did not expect that they would focus on locating the highest priced parts that the corpor

I called in around 4:30pm as a referral from the Firestone down the street. I was needing an assessment on my vehicle asap because I am flying out tomorrow and no one else I called could help. Mike at Tires Plus took my call and squeezed me in last minute, despite already having a full schedule of appointments the rest of the evening. I arrived by 5pm. He was super friendly and never once made me feel bad about coming in late. He did a full assessment on my car and not only described what was wrong, but also showed me so I would understand. He was honest and let me know what his recommendations are but never pressured me to get anything done right away. He provided me with a thorough quote for services and allowed me time to decide. I left there feeling much better
